My clothes never were clean, in fact they became dingy. The customer service rep at Speed Queen said the “eco” setting is to comply with government regulations and I should not use it and I should always use the “auto fill”.

I bought a top load Speed Queen washing machine a year ago and used the “eco” setting which didn’t rinse the soap out of my clothes and I developed a terrible skin rash that I had to treat with **. This machine doesn’t even deserve one star. I really don’t want to give this rating a star but I had to select at lea I really don’t want to give this rating a star but I had to select at least one. Warning to anyone planning to buy the 2018 Models of Speed Queen.buy something else.

Finally, SQ and the dealer got together and they decided to give me a full refund and take back the machine.

Working with the local dealer didnt get me any suitable resolution until I suggested that I would call the BBB and local TV station. I sent pictures, made phone calls to SQ and the dealer, multiple trips to the dealer, comments on SQ Facebook and website etc. Speed Queen told me I had to get resolution with the local Dealer. The local dealer told me I had to get resolution with Speed Queen. Ive tried everything to get my clothes clean and bright but after 2 1/2 months of trying, I gave up. It does not remove dirt or stains no matter what cycle you run it on. Unfortunately, Speed Queen changed the agitation mechanics of the 2018 models and this machine does a terrible job of washing clothes. Buy something else, anything else! A wash board would be better. Please don’t make the same mistake we did.
It takes over an hour to dry a normal load of clothes. Sometimes the clothes are dry & sometimes they are still damp.
I was told to get it fixed I would have to pull it out in a regular basis & reset the auto sensor. This usually leads to flipping the breaker because can’t get it pulled out to unplug it.The dryer is supposed to have an auto shut off when the clothes are dry, but it does not work.

You can’t do many towels or blankets because it will throw an error code & water won’t drain. We have tried to switch detergent to see if it helps which it does not. The little holes where the water drains get clogged so they have to be cleaned out constantly. It’s disgusting! When you pull them out they are soaking wet & grimy.
